#OperationBuckstorm Started By Anonymous Hackers !

Feb 13, 2011
#OperationBuckstorm Started By Anonymous Hackers ! Inspired by #OperationPaperstorm. How to make an AnonDollar: 1. Edit George's face on a dollar bill by adding a mask. Clear sticker printer paper works extra awesome for this, or printerpaper/glue. Or you can just draw black bars on George or give him another new face. 2. Write your favorite Anonymous website (ie anonnews.org, anonops.ru, anonleaks.ru operationbuckstorm.blogspot.com) or slogan on the bill margins. Write tiny, and on the borders of the bill. This leaves them intact as legal tender and is very important. 3. You now have an AnonDollar! 4. Spend/tip with/donate/leave on the street! Protips: wear gloves, only spend one at a time, do not damage currency in any way, if asked you either found it on the street or got it as change (where was that?), ALL MONEY IN ALL COUNTRIES CAN PARTICIPATE. We are Anonymous. Expect us.

The Hidden Risks of SaaS: Why Built-In Protections Aren't Enough for Modern Data Resilience

The Hidden Risks of SaaS: Why Built-In Protections Aren't Enough for Modern Data Resilience

Jun 26, 2025Data Protection / Compliance
SaaS Adoption is Skyrocketing, Resilience Hasn't Kept Pace SaaS platforms have revolutionized how businesses operate. They simplify collaboration, accelerate deployment, and reduce the overhead of managing infrastructure. But with their rise comes a subtle, dangerous assumption: that the convenience of SaaS extends to resilience. It doesn't. These platforms weren't built with full-scale data protection in mind . Most follow a shared responsibility model — wherein the provider ensures uptime and application security, but the data inside is your responsibility. In a world of hybrid architectures, global teams, and relentless cyber threats, that responsibility is harder than ever to manage. Modern organizations are being stretched across: Hybrid and multi-cloud environments with decentralized data sprawl Complex integration layers between IaaS, SaaS, and legacy systems Expanding regulatory pressure with steeper penalties for noncompliance Escalating ransomware threats and inside...

Microsoft accuses former manager of stealing 600 MB of confidential docs !

Feb 13, 2011
Microsoft yesterday accused a former manager of taking hundreds of megabytes of confidential company material when he left the firm for a new position at CRM rival Salesforce.com. In a motion filed with a Washington State Superior Court Thursday, Microsoft alleged that Matt Miszewski, formerly a market development manager in the company's government group, lied about retaining "a large trove of materials -- 600 megabytes of information comprising over 900 separate files (estimated at 25,000 pages)" of proprietary Microsoft information on his personal computer. Late last month, Microsoft sued Miszewski for violating non-compete and confidentiality agreements when he accepted a job as a senior vice president with customer-relationship management (CRM) vendor Salesforce.com. The state court then issued a temporary restraining order that blocked Miszewski from working at Salesforce.com, engaging in any competitive activities or providing services to any of his former cust...

Exposed : HBGary wanted to suppress Stuxnet research !

Feb 13, 2011
It is no secret that in recent days,  Anonymous Operatives  have released a cache of HBGary Federal internal emails to the public.  Crowdleaks  has discovered that within these communications,  Aaron Barr  received a copy of Stuxnet  (a computer worm that targets the types of industrial control systems (ICS) that are commonly used in infrastructure supporting facilities)  from  McAfee  on July 28, 2010. In an effort to confirm this was in fact Stuxnet,  Crowdleaks  has decompiled some of the source code, which can be found. Throughout the following emails it is revealed that  HBGary Federal  may have been planning to use Stuxnet  for their own purposes. In a message sent to all email account holders at HBGary.com,  Charles Copeland  (Lead Support Engineer at HBGary, Inc.)   writes: from: Charles Copeland to: all@hbgary.com date: Sat, Sep 25, 2010 at 9:54 PM subject: Stuxnet Worm Mail...

Chinese man flip-flops on hacking claims in McAfee Report !

Feb 13, 2011
A Chinese technician quoted by U.S. Internet security firm McAfee Inc. as informing that hackers from China had attacked a number of US oil and gas companies over the past years has denied claims attributed to him in the 19-page report released on Thursday. In a telephone interview to the Wall Street Journal, Song Zhiyue, a technician for website hosting company Science & Technology Internet in northeastern Shandong province who has been named in the McAfree report, said, "What? You sure it's my company?" He also reportedly added, he has "no idea at all about hacking attacks on U.S. oil companies." Although McAfee did not name him as one of the hackers, the security firm, which saw Zhiyue as a conduit to the hacking, suspected that he "is aware or has information that can help identify at least some of the individuals." According to the McAfee report, Zhiyue claimed that he had heard of Chinese hackers targeting U.S. oil companies. He also sai...

Algeria Internet and Facebook Not Shut Down !

Algeria Internet and Facebook Not Shut Down !

Feb 13, 2011
When the Egyptian government decided to flip the switch on its country's Internet on Jan. 27, news of the unprecedented shut down spread rapidly. Rumors that the same thing has happened today in Algeria are unfounded, even though the country has been on the radar for a possible "domino effect" of events in Tunisia and Egypt. Internet intelligence authority Renesys, which confirmed the Egypt outage weeks ago, says in a new blog post that it has no evidence that Algeria's Internet has been shut down. Algeria typically has about 135 routed network prefixes in the global routing table, and our data show that they are all still routed and relatively stable. Traceroutes inbound confirm that sites hosted in these prefixes are still alive, and spot checks of websites hosted in Algeria show that most are up and functioning normally.  It's possible, that there are some Internet blocks not visible to outside the country, similar to Iranian-style throttling, but that ca...
