Sony Pictures hacked and Database Leaked by LulzSec YES ! Sony Hacked Again once more by Lulzsec. The Target is  SonyPictures.com and It compromised over 1,000,000 users'personal information, including passwords, email addresses, home addresses,dates of birth, and all Sony opt-in data associated with their accounts.Also compromised all admin details of Sony Pictures(including passwords) along with 75,000 "music codes" and 3.5 million "music coupons". SonyPictures.com was hacked by a very simple SQL injection , one of the most primitive and common vulnerabilities.From a single injection, They accessed whole database.  The worst thing is Sony stored over 1,000,000 passwords of its customers in plaintext, No md5 OR other type of Encryption. After hacking social media accounts of HBO and its widely watched show Game of Thrones , a notorious group of hackers calling itself OurMine took control over the official Twitter and Facebook accounts for Sony's PlayStation Network (PSN) on Sunday. After taking over the accounts, OurMine, Saudi Arabian group of hackers which claims to be a "white hat" security firm, posted its first tweet on Sunday evening, claiming to have breached PlayStation Network and stolen its database. The tweet followed by a series of tweets encouraging the company to contact the hacking group through its website to buy its IT security service in an effort to protect itself from future cyber attacks. This is getting (more) ridiculous. Not even two days after Sony restored its embattled PlayStation Network for most users worldwide, cyber criminals have once again launched an attack, this time going after the PSN's password reset system. In order for users to reconnect to the PSN, they were required to reset their passwords. While the PlayStation Network is down, a lot of gamers are curious as to what have been the reasons to this outrageous downtime. Today, Media Molecule said that the PSN is once again, hacked. According to the post that Media Molecule posted today, the PSN is hacked and it warned users not to enter any personal information including credit card, etc until the PSN website says it's okay. The PlayStation 3 has been hacked before, originally with the PSJailbreak dongle and fail0verflow, but Sony managed to fight back with Firmware 3.60 which managed to ingeniously re-secure the console. But Hackers have released a custom firmware which allows compromised consoles to log into PSN, alongside LV0 decryption keys which allow the user to bypass future security updates. The hacker group ' The Three Musketeers ' claims that they already had the keys for a while but decided not to publish them. The information also came into the hands of another Chinese hacking group called BlueDiskCFW which was about to release the Iv0 keys for a fee. Hacked PlayStation Network to be fully restored by end of May ! Sony said Tuesday it aimed to fully restore its PlayStation Network, shut down after a massive security breach affecting more than 100 million online accounts, by the end of May. Sony also confirmed that personal data from 24.6 million user accounts was stolen in the hacker attack last month. Personal data, including credit card numbers, might have been stolen from another 77 million PlayStation accounts, said Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. spokesperson Satoshi Fukuoka. He said Sony has not received any reports of illegal uses of stolen information, and the company is continuing its probe into the hacker attack. He declined to give details on the investigation. Sony shut down the PlayStation network, a system that links gamers worldwide in live play, on April 20 after discovering the security breach. The 25-year-old " Shake It Off " singer, who has the fourth-most popular Twitter account with 51.4 million followers, appeared to be asking her millions of followers to follow @veriuser and @lizzard. Swift confirmed that her Twitter and Instagram accounts were hacked on Tuesday afternoon, and also that the rogue posts were quickly removed from the social media websites. " My Twitter got hacked but don't worry, Twitter is deleting the hacker tweets and locking my account until they can figure out how this happened and get me new passwords ," said a statement posted on Swift's personal Tumblr page. OurMine is in headlines once again—this time for breaching the popular video streaming service Vevo . After hunting down social media accounts of HBO and defacing WikiLeaks website , the infamous self-proclaimed group of white hat hackers OurMine have hacked Vevo and leaked about 3.12 TB worth of internal files. Vevo is a joint venture between Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group, Abu Dhabi Media, Warner Music Group, and Google's parent company Alphabet Inc. OurMine managed to get hold of Vevo's "sensitive" data including its internal office documents, videos and promotional materials after the hacking collective successfully hacked into the Vevo servers. The group then posted the stolen documents (approximately 3.12 terabytes) from Vevo on its website on late Thursday, though OurMine removed the stolen information from its website on Vevo's request. Sony PlayStation 3 hacked, PS3 jailbreak Fail0verflow method. Sony PlayStation 3 has successfully been hacked by a team of hackers named fail0verflow thanks to its poor public key cryptography. The hacker group demonstrated their hacking tricks at the Chaos Communication Conference 27C3 in 45 minutes. Hackers stated that they could crack PS3 through its feeble cryptographic implementation. The hacker team discovered several of Sony's security downfalls with its PS3 after their deep research on the system. Sony hacked again - 93,000 accounts compromised with brute-force attack Sony has warned users against a massive bruteforce attack against PlayStation and Sony network accounts. The attack – which used password and user ID combinations from an unidentified third-party source – succeeded in compromising 60,000 PlayStation Network and 33,000 Sony Online Entertainment network accounts. These accounts have been locked and passwords reset. The attack took place between October 7 and 10 and succeeded in matching valid sign-in IDs. According to a blog post by Philip Reitinger, Sony's Chief Information Security Officer, credit card details were not compromised. Both the motive for the latest attack against Sony network users and the identity of the perpetrator(s) remains unclear.
