Over a billion Bluetooth-enabled devices, including smartphones, laptops, smart IoT devices, and industrial devices, have been found vulnerable to a high severity vulnerability that could allow attackers to spy on data transmitted between the two devices. The vulnerability, assigned as CVE-2019-9506 , resides in the way 'encryption key negotiation protocol' lets two Bluetooth BR/EDR devices choose an entropy value for encryption keys while pairing to secure their connection. Referred to as the Key Negotiation of Bluetooth ( KNOB ) attack, the vulnerability could allow remote attackers in close proximity to targeted devices to intercept, monitor, or manipulate encrypted Bluetooth traffic between two paired devices. OpenClaw has fixed a high-severity security issue that, if successfully exploited, could have allowed a malicious website to connect to a locally running artificial intelligence (AI) agent and take over control. "Our vulnerability lives in the core system itself – no plugins, no marketplace, no user-installed extensions – just the bare OpenClaw gateway, running exactly as documented," Oasis Security said in a report published this week. The flaw has been codenamed ClawJacked by the cybersecurity company. The attack assumes the following threat model: A developer has OpenClaw set up and running on their laptop, with its gateway , a local WebSocket server, bound to localhost and protected by a password. Cybersecurity researchers are warning of a spike in suspicious login scanning activity targeting Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS GlobalProtect gateways, with nearly 24,000 unique IP addresses attempting to access these portals. "This pattern suggests a coordinated effort to probe network defenses and identify exposed or vulnerable systems, potentially as a precursor to targeted exploitation," threat intelligence firm GreyNoise said . The surge is said to have commenced on March 17, 2025, sustaining at nearly 20,000 unique IP addresses per day before dropping off on March 26. At its peak, 23,958 unique IP addresses are estimated to have participated in the activity. Of these, only a smaller subset of 154 IP addresses has been flagged as malicious. The United States and Canada have emerged as the top sources of traffic, followed by Finland, the Netherlands, and Russia. Bad actors are exploiting multiple security vulnerabilities in Fortinet FortiSandbox, according to threat intelligence firm Defused Cyber. In a post shared on X, the company said it has observed exploitation of CVE-2026-39813, CVE-2026-39808 , and CVE-2026-25089 over the past 24 hours. CVE-2026-39813 (CVSS score: 9.1) refers to a path traversal vulnerability in FortiSandbox JRPC API that could allow an unauthenticated attacker to bypass authentication via specially crafted HTTP requests. The second flaw, CVE-2026-39808 (CVSS score: 9.1), is a case of operating system command injection that could allow an unauthenticated attacker to execute unauthorized code or commands via crafted HTTP requests. A 42-year-old Belarusian and Cypriot national with alleged connections to the now-defunct cryptocurrency exchange BTC-e is facing charges related to money laundering and operating an unlicensed money services business. Aliaksandr Klimenka , who was arrested in Latvia on December 21, 2023, was extradited to the U.S. and is currently being held in custody. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison. BTC-e, which had been operating since 2011, was seized by law enforcement authorities in late July 2017 following the arrest of another key member  Alexander Vinnik , in Greece. The exchange is alleged to have received deposits valued at over $4 billion, with Vinnik laundering funds received from the hack of another digital exchange, Mt. This time it's the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) NASA today confirmed a data breach that may have compromised personal information of some of its current and former employees after at least one of the agency's servers was hacked. In an internal memo sent to all employees on Tuesday, NASA said the unknown hackers managed to gain access to one of its servers storing the personally identifiable information (PII), including social security numbers, of current and former employees. The agency said NASA discovered the breach on October 23 when its cybersecurity personnel began investigating a possible breach of two of its servers holding employee records. The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) on Thursday urged Fortinet customers with FortiGate appliances to take steps to secure against ongoing malicious activity aimed at thousands of internet-accessible devices. The sweeping campaign, believed to be the work of Russian-speaking threat actors, has been codenamed FortiBleed . The number of compromised devices stands at 86,644 as of June 19, 2026. According to data from SOCRadar, generic admin accounts (35%) and built-in Fortinet system accounts (28.3%) together make up the majority of compromised credentials. Organization-specific accounts account for 36.7% of the remaining breached credentials. Cybersecurity researchers on Wednesday disclosed a new bypass vulnerability (CVE-2021-23008) in the Kerberos Key Distribution Center (KDC) security feature impacting F5 Big-IP application delivery services. "The KDC Spoofing vulnerability allows an attacker to bypass the Kerberos authentication to Big-IP Access Policy Manager (APM), bypass security policies and gain unfettered access to sensitive workloads," Silverfort researchers Yaron Kassner and Rotem Zach said in a report. "In some cases this can be used to bypass authentication to the Big-IP admin console as well." Coinciding with the public disclosure, F5 Networks has released patches to address the weakness (CVE-2021-23008, CVSS score 8.1), with fixes introduced in BIG-IP APM versions 12.1.6, 13.1.4, 14.1.4, and 15.1.3. Bourne, Ken Thompson, Eric Schmidt, Stuart Feldman, and Brian W. Kernighan.
