Kim Dotcom, a hacker that was able to take his knowledge and create a site called Megaupload, was recently arrested due to alleged copyright infringement allegations. Even though he was the top dog in the company, he did not commit these crimes alone, and many other key players were also arrested in the wake of these crimes. Unfortunately, while this guy is obviously intelligent, he should have been using those brains for good instead of evil. However it wasn't all bad, and some good did come from it. Symantec's Norton anti-virus 2006 source code Leaked by Anonymous Security firm Symantec confirmed Friday that the hacker group Anonymous has just posted some of its product source code, but strongly downplays any risk, because it's old code from a 2006 version of Norton security software. Anonymous claimed to have the information for a while but they finally published it on The website Pirate Bay . The information is a source code for the Symantec Norton Antivirus 2006 edition,which includes files that serve as a source code for software products like the corporate edition, the consumer version, and files for NetWare, Windows and Unix. The download file is 1.07GB. The file has a note that asks for the liberation of the LulzSec members that were arrested. Symantec the anti-virus and Security Company previously stated that the breach will " not affect any current Norton product ". Interpol  #TangoDown , Suspected 25 Anonymous arrested Interpol's Web site (www.interpol.int) went down Tuesday just hours after the international police agency announced the arrest of 25 suspected members of the hacking collective Anonymous in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Spain. The authorities in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Spain carried out the arrests and seized 250 items of IT equipment and mobile phones, Interpol says.Those arrested are aged between 17 and 40. #WikiLeaks publishes millions of Hacked Stratfor E-mails #gifiles WikiLeaks today began publishing more than five million confidential e-mails from US-based Intelligence firm Stratfor.  About 5.5m emails obtained from the servers of Stratfor, a US-based intelligence gathering firm with about 300,000 subscribers and has been likened to a shadow CIA. The emails, snatched by hackers, could unmask sensitive sources and throw light on the murky world of intelligence-gathering by the company known as Stratfor, which counts Fortune 500 companies among its subscribers. Stratfor in a statement shortly after midnight said the release of its stolen emails was an attempt to silence and intimidate it. Three Greek Anonymous hackers arrested for defacing Government Sites According to a press release by the Greek police,They has arrested an eighteen-year-old and identified two other teenagers it accuses of having defaced the Greek Ministry of Justice website. The attack happened at the start of February, Aged 16, 17 and 18, the three targeted schoolboys are suspected of taking part in this group under the nicknames ' delirium ', ' nikpa ' and ' extasy '. The Greek Cybercrime division has found electronic traces that supposedly lead to the subjects and claim that they've attacked many sites in the past.
