British-born ISIS Hacker Killed in US Drone Strike in Syria

Remember Team Poison ?  The hackers group that was active in 2012, and was known for gaining access to the former Prime Minister Tony Blair's address book and then publishing information from it. The British hacker who actually obtained the Prime Minister's address book and was jailed for six months in 2012, named Junaid Hussain , has been killed in a United States drone strike in Syria, a source familiar with the matter said on Wednesday. Hussain was a British hacker who rose to prominence within Islamic State group in Syria as a top cyber expert to mastermind the ISIS online war. The U.S. military conducted the operation; no involvement of the British government in the killing of Hussain, a British citizen from Birmingham. The hacktivist group Anonymous has launched a massive cyber attack against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) — the radical Islamic terrorist group who were  responsible for the terrorist attack against the Paris offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo . With huge social media presence, ISIS is the most active terror group on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram accounts. But unluckily, over dozens of Facebook and Twitter accounts linked to ISIS has recently been taken by the Anonymous group. In a video appeared on Youtube, Anonymous group and RedCult announced the operation  #OpISIS  and claimed to have carried out cyber attack against hundreds of Twitter and Facebook accounts used by ISIS for its own propaganda and to recruit new members. US Central Command Social Media Accounts Hacked by ISIS Supporters

The official Twitter and YouTube accounts for the US military's Central Command ( CENTCOM ) that oversees operations in Central Asia and the Middle East were hacked on Monday by a hacker group claiming association with Islamic State militant group, also known as ISIS. The hacker group, appears to call itself " CyberCaliphate ", managed to gain access to the CENTCOM social accounts, and posted some screenshots of documents, allegedly internal CENTCOM documents, with links to what they described as leaked military files. Meanwhile, YouTube page related to the US military's Central Command was set to display propaganda videos in support of the terrorist group ISIS. On Twitter, the group posted a Pastebin message that declared " Pentagon networks hacked. AMERICAN SOLDIERS WE ARE COMING, WATCH YOUR BACK. ISIS. #CyberCaliphate .
