Darren Guccione is an entrepreneur, technologist and business leader. He is the CEO and Co-founder of Keeper Security, the leading zero-trust and zero-knowledge cybersecurity platform, used by millions of people and thousands of organizations globally. A visionary in the technology industry for decades, Guccione previously served as an advisor to NinthDecimal, a leading media and technology company, and was the CFO and co-founder of Apollo Solutions, which was acquired by CNET Networks.
Guccione earned a Master of Science in Accountancy with Distinction from DePaul University's Kellstadt School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Department of Industrial & Enterprise Systems Engineering.
He has served on the Committee of Technology Infrastructure under Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, and advised Mayor Rahm Emanuel on promoting Chicago's technology ecosystem. He has also supported early-stage innovation as a board member of the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center and advisor to TechStars Chicago.
Guccione is a frequent keynote speaker and panelist at global technology and cybersecurity conferences and is regularly featured in national, trade and broadcast media as a cybersecurity subject matter expert. He has received numerous prestigious industry awards, including 2025 Trailblazing CEO of the Year, 2024 Next Gen Executive of the Year and 2022 Editor's Choice CEO of the Year, awarded by Cyber Defense Magazine's Global InfoSec Awards.
