As we have reported you earlier that Microsoft is pulling out their Windows XP support after April 8 2014. Since a vast majority of bank ATMs around the world currently runs on Windows XP, but if they'll continue sticking to it after the deadline, then they'll be exposed to all kinds of security threats, as Microsoft will no longer provide the security patches thereafter. Many countries' Banks have got a way out, many banks have arranged or are in the process of arranging extended support for Windows XP for which they are ready to pay Microsoft millions of dollars, but may be not in the case of India. In October, A Security researcher ' Craig Heffner ' discovered a backdoor vulnerability ( CVE-2013-6027 ) with certain D-Link routers that allow cyber criminals to alter a router setting without a username or password. Last week, D-Link has released new version of Firmware for various vulnerable router models, that patches the unauthorized administrator access backdoor. Heffner  found that the web interface for some D-Link routers could be accessed if the browser's user agent string is set to xmlset_roodkcableoj28840ybtide . The official website of the Office of the Thai Prime Minister was quickly taken down after a hacker defaced the website with abusive message pasted next to an altered photograph of a laughing Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra . The words " I'm a slutty moron " appeared briefly alongside a picture of a smiling Yingluck, followed by " I know that I am the worst Prime Minister ever in Thailand history!!! " . It was signed by " Unlimited Hack Team ". The PM's Office's site was hacked at around noon Wednesday. Technicians struggled to deal with the problem. An investigation has been launched and authorities seem confident that they can identify the culprits. Unlimited Hack Team has been around for a while. As the popularity of Android has boomed, more and more malware is targeting the platform. Digital miscreants are using fraudulent developer accounts on Google's Play marketplace to spread malware. According to latest  Mobile Threat report from F-Secure , Android malware continued to gain in share in 2012 and was responsible for 79 percent of all threats for the year, up from 66 percent in 2011, but Google developer responded with," F-Secure can say that anything is malware ".
