The 7 Most Wanted Iranian Hackers By the FBI

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has lengthened its Most Wanted List by adding seven Iranian hackers who are accused of attacking a range of US banks and a New York dam. On Thursday, the United States Department of Justice (DoJ) charged seven Iranian hackers with a slew of computer hacking offences for breaking into computer systems of dozens of US banks, causing Millions of dollars in damages, and tried to shut down a New York dam. The individual hackers, who allegedly worked for computer security companies linked to the Iranian government, were indicted for an " extensive campaign " of cyber attacks against the US financial sector. All the seven hackers have been added to the FBI's Most Wanted list, and their names are: Ahmad Fathi , 37 Hamid Firoozi , 34 Amin Shokohi , 25 Sadegh Ahmadzadegan (aka Nitr0jen26), 23 Omid Ghaffarinia (aka PLuS), 25 Sina Keissar , 25 Nader Saedi (aka Turk Server), 26 All the hackers have been charg

Apart from various Government websites falling victim to Hacking attacks, the latest to be targeted by hackers belongs to the world's richest cricket Board, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Late night on 26th January ( 65th Republic Day of India ), the official website of Indian cricket's Governing body, BCCI.TV has been defaced by Bangladeshi hacker who goes by the name Ashik Iqbal Chy . The ' About Us ' page on the website has the message " Don'T MesS UP WitH TiGeRs! " along with the image of the Bangladesh national cricket team running with the Bangladeshi Flag. Philippines-Malaysia Cyber war over Sabah land dispute

A series of websites defacement has been conducted between Philippines and Malaysia over the dispute in the land of Sabah. Hackers claiming to be part of Anonymous group from Malaysian and Filipino and attacking websites of each other. It was believed that the first online attacks were made by Malaysians and defaced the government-owned site of the municipality Moal Boal, Cebu, hours after a skirmish erupted between police and Sulu gunmen on Friday. Meanwhile the online shop of Philippine mobile services provider Globe Telecom was defaced by hackers claiming to be from the " MALAYSIA Cyb3r 4rmy ". Israel preparing their Cyber Army under Unit 8200

The Israeli military has set plans to boost its cyber warfare capabilities with a better Cyber Army by expand its Unit 8200. " It has become clear that the demand for soldiers in this field is growing, which is why we're searching for solutions not only in Israel but abroad as well ," a top officer in the Manpower Directorate.
