Guccifer 2.0 Leaks Personal Info of Nearly 200 Congressional Democrats

The hacker, who recently claimed responsibility for the high-profile hack of Democratic National Committee (DNC), has now taken credit for hacking into the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) as well. To prove his claims, the hacker, going by the moniker Guccifer 2.0, dumped on Friday night a massive amount of personal information belonging to nearly 200 Democratic House members onto his blog . The notorious hacker published several documents that include cell phone numbers, home addresses, official and personal e-mail addresses, names of staffers, and other personal information for the entire roster of Democratic representatives. The data dump also includes several memos from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's personal computer, detailing fundraisers and campaign overviews. Today, whistleblowing website Wikileaks has finally published more than 19,000 e-mails, which contains more than 8,000 attachments from the US Democratic National Committee (DNC) . The new trove of documents apparently pilfered from the DMC released after Wikileaks yesterday announced via its official Twitter account that a "series" about Hillary Clinton is coming soon. The published documents are part one of Wikileaks' new Hillary Leaks series, Wikileaks said in a press release. The emails released by Wikileaks were handed over to the whistleblower organization by the DNC hacker using handle " Guccifer 2.0 ," who hacked DNC's computer systems in a such a way that the hacker was able to read all email and chat traffic. Infamous Hacker 'Guccifer' appears in US Court after Extradition

Marcel Lazar Lehel aka " Guccifer " – an infamous Romanian hacker who hacked into the emails and social networking accounts of numerous high profile the US and Romanian Politicians – appeared in the United States court for the first time after extradition. Following Romania's top court approval last month, Guccifer was extradited to the United States recently from Romania, his home country, where he had already been serving a hacking sentence. Lehel has been charged with cyber-stalking, unauthorized access to a protected computer and aggravated identity theft in a nine-count indictment filed in 2014 in a federal district court in Alexandria, the U.S. Justice Department said in a statement. Upon the request of US authorities, Marcel Lazar Lehel, well known as Guccifer , has finally been approved to extradite to the United States to face Computer Intrusion and Identity Theft Charges for 18 months. Guccifer is an infamous Romanian hacker who was arrested in Romania for hacking into the emails and social networking accounts of numerous high profile the US and Romanian Politicians. " Guccifer " arrested in Romania, the infamous hacker who was responsible for breaching the social media and email accounts of numerous high profile US and Romanian Politicians. Romanian authorities collaborated with US services to catch him and the officers of the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIOCT) raided His House last Wednesday. The hacker, known as Guccifer , targeted several e-mail accounts and exposed personal photos and sensitive correspondence from members of the former US President Bush family, including both former U.S. presidents. Hacked Emails includes the AOL account of his daughter Dorothy Bush Koch; family friends Willard Hemingway and Jim Nantz; former First Lady Barbara Bush's brother; and George H W Bush's sister-in-law. Some of the e-mails contain catty comments about another former president, Bill Clinton. The photos and e-mails were uploaded yesterday to an online account that appears to have been hacked for the purpose of hosting the material including confidential October 2012 list of home addresses, cell phone numbers, and e-mails for dozens of Bush family members, including both former presidents, their siblings, and their children.
