Ubuntuforums.org , The popular Ubuntu Forums site, has posted a message on its index page, informing its near 2 million users that it has suffered a serious security breach. " There has been a security breach on the Ubuntu Forums, " reads the page. The site was defaced by hacker with Twitter handle " Sputn1k_ " and Unfortunately the attacker have gotten every user's local username, encrypted password, and email address from the Ubuntu Forums database. " The Canonical IS team is working hard as we speak to restore normal operations ." page said. Canonical advises users who have used their same forum password on other sites to change it immediately. " Ubuntu One, Launchpad and other Ubuntu/Canonical services are not affected by the breach, " company stated.

Chinese hackers defaced the website of the government owned Philippines News Agency (PNA) on Sunday.  Defaced page of the website was with the Chinese flag and the text: " China Hacker EvilShadow Team, We are evil shadow. The site was back to normal after an hour. This last hacking incident comes days after the arrest of 12 Chinese fishermen suspected of poaching after their boat ran aground in a protected marine park. On Monday morning, Google has been the victim of a cyber-attack. PKNIC, The Pakistan domain registrar of .com.pk, .pk, org.pk and others domains has been reportedly hacked again yesterday. A hackers group named PakBugs has claimed that they have successfully penetrated PKNIC servers and gained control of around 23,000 domains which included some of the most popular pakistani media websites also. This is not the first time that PKNIC servers have been compromised. Earlier a Turkish hacker successfully managed to penetrate PKNIC servers and redirected 284 .pk domains.
